Pretty cute! Lovely choice of colors, and I liked the expression on that guy's face, teeheeh.
The only thing I had a problem with here is that you seem to have a thing with drawing hands.
I've also had this before but then I got over it. You have focus on the things that you find yourself not really good at, and try to get out of your comfy zone if you want to improve.
You have some potential, I think you could become a great artist if you work hard enough.

When you make the speech bubbles, use the transform tool, right click and choose warp.
Then modify the bubble so it could look a bit more... Uhh.. You know... Organic? Maybe...

It should be, it's a lot better than flash. Have you tried PaintTool SAI?
