It was the first thing on my feed this morning, and while I was scrambling to get a copy of it before NG mods took it down... it got taken down >:( looking forward to listening to your new tune, and seeing all the work you put into those 'cuts'. Best wishes man, I'm rootin' for ya

Well, some of those clips are portraying actual suffering or death of people who never asked for it. I get this style and I know art is art, but even art should know some moral boundaries - otherwise it becomes a cheap, valueless show made just to shock. There's nothing wrong with ultra violence and use of actual suffering, as long as there's some kind of purpose or statement behind it. Your vid could do just the same without stacking someone's genuine personal tragedy with hentai and goofy pictures, that doesn't tell anything interesting, it's just there for extra edge. It's not that it's offensive or something, it's just tasteless, blunt.
Music is okay tho.

Yea I completely get where you're coming from.

I just wanted to portray the most chaotic and confusing mess I could think of.

As a kid, I used to have sleep paralysis nightmares where I'd see very random rapid flashing imagery and really loud growling noises.
I wanted to throw that idea on paper in a sense, you know?

It's completely outside of the style I work with on anything I make, but I enjoyed making this and it felt like I threw a great weight off my shoulders making the song and the video, even though there wasn't anything that was troubling me, it's hard to explain.

But yea man, I completely understand, and I'd love to hear more of people's opinions on this video, because I'm very interested to hear how everyone felt towards this.

Im all open for criticism ❤️Thank you so much for taking the time to write your comment!

very cool man
just wondering what your process was for collecting all these material?

It's a bit weird, I just searched up random keywords on google, youtube, giphy, liveleak and vimeo pulled out random shit, and picked out anything that I felt would fit best in a "rapid flashing image" form.

There wasn't really too much though behind arranging the material either, I just went with the flow I guess

Spaghetti...

To be honest, I love this. I don't really support some ideas, but it definitely made me thonk.

Did you reach a new level of W O K E? ?

How did you find these videos, images, etc.
I find your content very interesting and I think you have become one of my favorite artists and musicians, I would like to know how you looked for all those videos, gifs, etc.
i love your content

Why is there so much dismemberment in this video?

Wow, I think this video is incredible. I can see how showing this suffering is not for everyone, but it gives off a kind of uncomfortable realism. It points to the immense task that is dealing with a world where all these images coexist.
In a sense it is very contemporary for the current generation that is growing up in a world that has never been more globalized, a world where right and wrong seem like increasingly relative terms. Where as in the past people would live their lives with much less information at their reach, nowadays the information that you expose yourself to is more the result of an active choice.
Because if we considered all the information we could access, including all the suffering of animals, humans, and everything alive, that would just be too overwhelming, too anarchistic to discern anything as morally correct without seeming like a hypocrite.
Which in turn leads to a lot of apathy within this current generation, a generation where malls are built next to slums, where rural farmers are sending cash using phones, a generation where online games and shitposts merge with active warfare.
It appears like there is no meaning nor purpose, just things happening and it is our task to decide on what we want to make part of our lives, and what we want to leave out / ignore. But we are still human, and despite this clusterfuck of things we have been presented with, we can't help but feel some nostalgia for all of it or, dare I say, Mélancolie.

its gone?

is this now lost media?

Holy crap it's lost media now

Are those actual people??? If they are, this is only for 23+.
